Important terms and conditions for availing Matthavahini tricycles
The following priorities will be considered while selecting an eligible Franchisee / Agency / Licensor
a. Already franchisees of Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation
Preference will be given to them if they want to expand their fish marketing network under the scheme.
The trainees under various skill development schemes are engaged in fish marketing activities through Department approved Fishermen Producer Organizations (FFPOS).

2)The applications received will be selected by the district level selection committee as per the guidelines of the Govt.
3) Selected general category franchisee / agency / licensee should be willing to pay Rs.2,00,000/- and Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Women Rs.1,50,000/- as security deposit. Reimbursement will be made after successful completion of the license period
4) Monthly Rs.3,000/- to be paid to the corporation as agency fee.
5) The Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation shall enter into an agreement with the selected franchisees that they have agreed to the terms and conditions of the scheme.
