Indifference to comply with court order / Post of JE, AE, Chemist, Chemical Supervisor
Junior Engineer (JE), Assistant Engineer (AG). Even after 4 years since the High Court ordered a re-examination for filling up the posts of Chemist and Chemical Supervisor, the Karnataka Electricity Corporation Limited (KPCL) is counting 44,000 candidates.
The future is uncertain.
288 2, 296 AE, Chemist and Chemical Supervisor Posts Notification issued by KPCL on 3rd of 2017. A written examination was also conducted on 21st January 2018 through a private agency.
44,411 candidates appeared for the examination on that day. In the meantime, the High Court has directed to conduct a re-examination on February 1, 2019. But the government which is delaying the re-examination on many pretexts has not fixed the date.
In the previous Congress government, when DK Shivakumar was the Energy Minister, there was a recruitment process for 622 posts. After that, the JDS-Congress coalition government ruled for one year and the BJP government for four years, but the problem remained unresolved. And so and so result without any test
Candidates are the most without falling out.
Recruitment is an unfinished process for six years: KPCL conducted a written examination through a private organization for the posts of EDA, JE Chemist, Chemical Supervisor to work
in hydroelectric and thermal power plants. But 90% questions were given from a single book. So some people went to the court saying that there was an irregularity in the examination. After hearing the arguments, the High Court
directed the Energy Department to conduct a re-examination. However, re-examination has not been conducted. So even after six years the recruitment process has not been completed.
