75 lakh free LPG connection:
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur has informed in a press conference that this decision was taken in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
75 lakh new beneficiaries will be added to Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana. So far the total number of beneficiaries of this scheme will increase to 10 crore 35 lakh. This scheme is implemented across the country and poor families are benefiting from this scheme.
Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in May 2016. Free LPG connection in the name of women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
Credit to PM Modi for G-20 success
Along with the extension of Ujwala Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also felicitated in the Union Cabinet meeting. The G-20 Summit has been a huge success and the Union Cabinet has decided to give the credit of this success to Prime Minister Modi.
Defense Minister Rajnath presented a resolution giving credit to Prime Minister Modi for the success of G-20 in the Union Cabinet meeting. Union Minister Anurag Thakur informed the media that this was unanimously approved.
